Extend a helping hand to others during the COVID-19 lockdown

The COVID-19 pandemic, and the lockdown that was swift to follow, affected hundreds of thousands of people across India. Our state has recorded the highest number of infections which forced us all to make some uncomfortable adjustments to our regular routine and way of life.

Some of the worst affected communities include the underprivileged and unorganised sector labourers, who simply had to leave their work and find a way to return to their towns and villages, an extremely difficult journey, due to the lack of public transport facilities and the presence of little children or parents that require constant attention.

To support these communities, Relfor Foundation, through its NGO platform- SevaDeep, has undertaken the initiative of gathering and providing monthly rations in the form of care kits in the Pune region. The kit contains essential food items like wheat atta, rice, oil, sugar and dal, as well as personal care items like soap and toothpaste, that can support families with their daily needs for a month.

Since the outbreak of the virus and the state-wide lockdown, Relfor Foundation has assembled and delivered over a thousand kits across Pune and the surrounding areas. To make sure our kits can be delivered to more and more communities, we could really use your help! The cost of each kit is Rs. 800 and a small donation could support a family for an entire month.
